The Classic Ice Cream Truck

.

The ice cream truck is a vintage Good Humor truck from 1967. The original truck was a Ford F-250. The truck has been in deliverying ice cream in Connecticut since 1967. We've heard parents telling their children that 'this is the exact kind of truck that we had in our neighborhood when we were kids,' in some cases it may actually be the same truck.

After years of service to Phil & Tom the truck suffered damage last year in an intense windstorm that brought down trees and branches. It is in the process of being restored to it's original glory. Pics of the truck restoration are here>>

The freezer is plugged in nightly, keeping the ice cream at the perfect temperature, even in the hottest of weather. Today, ice cream choices include the classic flavors such as Toasted Almond or Candy Center Crunch as well as newer themes such as Sponge Bob Squarepants and Jimmy Neutron.

Memories of the Good Humor truck are so strong that many people can tell us the exact time of day that the Good Humor Man stopped by their house. Let us stop by your neighborhood to deliver the same treats and memories.
